Indie Movie Review – Happy Face One of those intensive dramas that touches us now in our modern age of tolerance. The actors bravely used their own faces — no makeup required. Well worth streaming: clever and enjoyable. We all loved it! In fact, we just did a full interview with the cast, director, and writer. Watch this now, and read our interview next week. You’ll be glad you did. |

Indie Movie Review – Sunny Side Up I think this movie could be cathartic or therapeutic for anyone dealing with social anxiety (or anyone who wants to know what it’s like). It’s ultimately an uplifting film. I would also recommend it to anyone who feels like no one will ever want them. Movie Grade: B |

Indie Movie Review – Beast Mode This is a solid horror-comedy. And if you’re looking for something that’s light on gore, this is a great pick. Movie Grade: A |

Horror Indie Movie Review – Playhouse Actually enjoyable. It’s a haunted castle ghost story filmed on location in Scotland, and that’s a good premise right there. The story mostly keeps up and adds to the genre. Grade: B- |

Indie Movie Review – The Retreat The Retreat was very nearly a good, scary film, and with a bit of light editing could find itself jumping up a couple of grades. Grade: C |
