Ah, dinosaurs! There’s something about them that all ages find fascinating. Toddlers to dodderers; there is a decent sized cohort in every age group. And within each age group there is a whole range of expertise. Some can identify them all; from Aardonyx to Zupaysaurus. Others struggle to tell a Brontosaurus from a Thesaurus. Regardless, there is a fascination with massive creatures who were walking the Earth over two hundred million years ago.

This year (2023) is the 30th anniversary of the release of the film that changed everything – Jurassic Park. Before this, screen dinosaurs were jerky, obviously stop-motion animated creatures; Ray Harryhausen was good but there was room for improvement. That improvement came in the form of CGI – Computer Generated Images. Let’s be honest though, this was still early days but the difference between Jurassic Park and, for example, When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth is immeasurable.
We here in RunPee Towers are no different in our appreciation of Dinosauria. As a result we have written a fair few articles about the beasties and seen more than a handful of films about them. So I thought that it was time that we put together another of our hubs. As usual, this is an ongoing work in progress and will be updated when new items are added so make sure you look back from time to time.

about the RunPee app.
Brilliant idea with great information
I’ve been using RunPee for a few years now and it’s basically a requirement of going to the movies for me. The best part of course are the “pee times” that give you cues, synopses and times for when you can pee without missing the most important parts of the movie. There is also information about the credits- length, extras and if there are any extra scenes at the wayyy end. Super helpful to just know that it is or isn’t worth staying. There is a timer function that will buzz your phone when it’s a good time to pee. I also appreciate that the app is very conscientious about it being an app you use in a theater- dark background, all silent alarms etc. I will always enjoy the experience of the theater even if I could watch things at home- but I’ve even used it at home to check for things like after credit scenes or other information too.
