Breaking is a heartbreaking and shocking story based on true events. The director also referred to Aaron Gell’s article, “‘They didn’t have to kill him: The death of Lance Corporal Brian Easley,” which was published in 2018. This story needs to be heard, seen, told, etc. A heart-wrenching punch to the gut and a hard look into the way some military veterans are treated. I very much enjoyed this movie but I know it’s not going to resonate with the general viewing audience. If you’ve never heard of this real-life event this movie would be a good way to introduce you to what happened. I recommend watching it.
The actors did a really good job in this movie. It wrenched my guts up the way this movie should have. It hit the mark for me. My thought is unfortunately, the story might not hold enough suspense and tension to keep the regular audience fully engaged. It doesn’t have some of the fluff that the general audience would expect in a made-up story, like some character development, plot points, a twist, but they’re telling a version of a real life story. Life’s drama doesn’t always unfold the way a fictional story does. Let alone, if they know how this story ends. I am sure most people will not rewatch more than once.

About The Peetimes: This movie cuts around to different perspectives and scenes a lot. It was definitely a challenge to get Peetimes. I did find 3 however. I recommend the 1st or 3rd Peetime.

Single best investment
By and far best investment Ive made. I used to drive my husband nuts because Id be a fidgeting mess the last half hour of the movie trying not to miss important parts. Now I just turn this app on and *bam* I can actually focus on the movie the whole time. Even puts alerts to my watch so even better. Also I can guarentee all the 5 reviews arent fake as one person accused – its just that so many of us movie-goers had the same problem and this fixed it. Yes, it is paid but jeeze its expensive to keep watching movies and updating an app for every movie. And if you read more about the creator he mentions he has several people contributing – so yeah its paid but omg worth every cent. 10/10
