Movie Review – The Boss Baby: Family Business

boss-baby-2

The Boss Baby: Family Business is, as you probably expected, meant for young children. There’s enough wild antics to appeal to pre-schoolers and two, simple to follow, plots. One about brotherhood. The other about self-confidence. Both of which are good lessons for pre-teens.

Plot (Spoilers)
The Templeton brothers have become adults and drifted away from each other, but a new boss baby with a cutting-edge approach is about to bring them together again – and inspire a new family business.

This is far from Pixar-good, but it’s not bad. It pretty much does its job. Although it wasn’t very funny. There were three families in the theater with me, each with a few children, and I only remember hearing one of them laugh out loud once. There are a few adult references thrown in here and there, but none of them got much of a reaction.
