Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween was a cute movie that brought many laughs from the theater. I think as far as Halloween movies out there for families, this is a great choice. We took our five year old granddaughter and she loved it. There were two moments she jumped due to a shock scare, but the rest of the time, she was just enjoying the cool Halloween costumes and decorations.
I had not seen the first Goosebumps, so I rented it and watched it the night before we saw this one. I kind of wished I hadn’t. My one and only complaint was that Jack Black’s part was really small in this one. He was only in the last few minutes of the movie, and he was awesome in the first film. I’m really curious why his role was so small.

There are endless possibilities for more Goosebumps movies. I can honestly say that I’m looking forward to more. You can’t go wrong for family night with this one. Happy Halloween!

This is a great app. I wish more people would support it
This app provides info about movies, reviews, ratings from people who have seen it before and after viewing. It has links to info about the movies. It let's you know when there will be a lull in the action and how long it will last. If you want to know what happens during that time, you can check the brief synopsis (you have to click a link, so no accidental spoilers). It has a timer you can set (silent) to alert you to a break. It also tells you whether there is anything extra during or after the credits. It's really a wonderful app. I've subscribed for a couple of years to support the developers, but I noticed some of the links to provide feedback didn't seem to work today. They also made it free, with voluntary donations to see the pee-times. If you haven't tried it, I encourage you to do so, and subscribe if you like it. I really hope the app is supported so it can continue to be maintained!

There are extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween. (What we mean by Anything Extra)
RunPee.com owes RunPee Sis a huge debt of gratitude. She sees any movie needed with no complaints and has done so for ten years (even basing Thanksgiving and Christmas family festivities around the seeing films). In 2015 Sis ran the entire RunPee enterprise herself, while RunPee Dan, Jilly and Mom went traipsing off to Europe. Sis is the spider in the web holding the RunPee family together — besides being a funny, well rounded person, and a joyous pleasure to be around. Her favorite films start and end with horror (which thank goodness she’s happy to see, since most of us don’t have the stomach for it) — but also likes silly comedies, sad dramas, and musicals of all types. If you’ve used a Peetime for a scary film, you probably have RunPee Sis to thank for it.
Favorite movie genre: Horror, horror, and more horror. The more disturbing, the better. Period.
