Movie Review - The Turning I really wanted to like The Turning. There were so many great aspects I should have loved it, but no. It was okay at best.

The stand-out feature of this movie was Finn Wolfhard. He was simply amazing. This kid can act. He shined in the movie It, and sparkled with a menacing force in The Turning. I was thinking to myself that he didn’t even need to open his mouth to get across his point. His face says it all. I really enjoyed watching him.

Another great aspect was the setting. I fell in love with the house and the grounds. I’m pretty sure that if I were faced with being a governess to these two children, I would totally deal with the horrors just to live in that house.
