If you’re looking for a fun movie with a huge cast of really great performances, then The Retirement Plan is what you need to watch. I had so much fun watching this movie. So many things are happening simultaneously that it makes for a fun night. I loved the variety of characters in this flick. Even some of the bad guys were endearing.
Nicolas Cage did what he always does; he rocked this role. I could tell he was having fun with it. I had read that he and Ron Perlman had struck up a friendship in another movie and Cage took this role because he wanted to hang out with Ron again. I can’t decide between the two of them who I liked more. Bad guy versus good guy, the lines here are very blurred.

Will this movie win an Oscar? Probably not. Was it fun and entertaining? Absolutely yes. Give The Retirement Plan a try; I think you’ll enjoy yourselves.
Grade: B+
Abo ut The Peetimes: There are 2 Peetimes to choose from. I recommend the 1st. After this, the movie never loses momentum. I did stick a 2nd Peetime, but I caution you, it’s only for emergencies.

about the RunPee app.
Brilliant idea with great information
I’ve been using RunPee for a few years now and it’s basically a requirement of going to the movies for me. The best part of course are the “pee times” that give you cues, synopses and times for when you can pee without missing the most important parts of the movie. There is also information about the credits- length, extras and if there are any extra scenes at the wayyy end. Super helpful to just know that it is or isn’t worth staying. There is a timer function that will buzz your phone when it’s a good time to pee. I also appreciate that the app is very conscientious about it being an app you use in a theater- dark background, all silent alarms etc. I will always enjoy the experience of the theater even if I could watch things at home- but I’ve even used it at home to check for things like after credit scenes or other information too.

Plot
In The Retirement Plan, when Ashley (Ashley Greene) and her young daughter Sarah (Thalia Campbell) get caught up in a criminal enterprise that puts their lives at risk, she turns to the only person who can help – her estranged father Matt (Nicolas Cage), currently living the life of a retired beach bum in the Cayman Islands. Their reunion is fleeting as they are soon tracked down on the island by crime boss Donnie (Jackie Earle Haley) and his lieutenant Bobo (Ron Perlman). As Ashley, Sarah and Matt become entangled in an increasingly dangerous web, Ashley quickly learns her father had a secret past that she knew nothing about and that there is more to her father than meets the eye.
RunPee.com owes RunPee Sis a huge debt of gratitude. She sees any movie needed with no complaints and has done so for ten years (even basing Thanksgiving and Christmas family festivities around the seeing films). In 2015 Sis ran the entire RunPee enterprise herself, while RunPee Dan, Jilly and Mom went traipsing off to Europe. Sis is the spider in the web holding the RunPee family together — besides being a funny, well rounded person, and a joyous pleasure to be around. Her favorite films start and end with horror (which thank goodness she’s happy to see, since most of us don’t have the stomach for it) — but also likes silly comedies, sad dramas, and musicals of all types. If you’ve used a Peetime for a scary film, you probably have RunPee Sis to thank for it.
Favorite movie genre: Horror, horror, and more horror. The more disturbing, the better. Period.
