I have no doubt, that as soon as we can ask an AI to create a feature movie we won’t have to specify that it be like a Wes Anderson movie. That will be the default.
If you’re not already aware, when you prompt an AI to create something it will sometimes go off the rails and add false, or non-sensical, things. In the AI field it’s called hallucinations. It’s what you get when you ask an AI to create an image of a horse running through the woods and it gets everything just right, except the horse has three legs and a bicycle wheel.

I like the other Anderson better
I appreciate that Wes Anderson creates distinctive movies. While his movies are all very much alike, they are unlike anything else. He was A24 before A24. I, however, am not in love with his distinctive style. The more random something is the more I want the writer(s) to tie all of that randomness together in some fashion at the end. Perhaps there’s no better example of this than the movie Magnolia written and directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. (No relation to Wes.)
Wes’ plots seem to be random for the sake of randomness. And to my recollection, his characters don’t evolve through the story. Just thinking back over a few of his movies I don’t recall an occasion where a character grows. I don’t need every character to have an arc that leads to some inner growth, but I’d like to have at least one or two that do so. In Wes’ movies the circumstances around a character may change, but not the character themselves.
Grade: C
About The Peetimes: If you’re familiar with Wes Anderson movies, then you can appreciate how hard it is to do Peetimes for one. Everything in his movies seems random and unimportant, and therefore nothing is random and everything is important. I chose Peetimes that are mostly outside of the movie. There are many scenes that break the forth-wall. You’ll understand as soon as the movie begins. So at least you can follow what’s going on inside the movie no matter which Peetime you use.
