What did I just see? Shut The Front Room door! This movie is a trip and a half.
When the movie fired up, I saw that it was an A24 production and just knew at that moment we were in for a crazy train ride. I was totally right.

Kathryn Hunter as Solange (the crazy mother-in-law) made the movie. Her performance was over the top and I loved it, even though most of her scenes were cringe-worthy. I can’t say much about the rest of the cast. They kind of blended into the background. I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of Brandy. I thought maybe since she’s older now, she’d be better. Nope. Still the same mechanical faces and no real emotion.
If you want to sit back and watch something that will make you move around uncomfortably in your seat, then this is the movie for you.

Must have app if you love the movies
If you’re like me and enjoy a 92oz soda as part of the movie experience, you’ll be thankful for this app telling you the best times to go for a quick break. Whether that’s to refill your soda or recycle it.
Possibly an even better feature is the info on if the movie has after credits scenes. There’s nothing worse than sitting there reading about who the key grip was, then finding out that’s all you did. I blame Marvel for the stupid trend.
Seriously, I see a dozen movies a month and use this app every single time. Worth every Penny of the infinity coin thing I bought.

RunPee.com owes RunPee Sis a huge debt of gratitude. She sees any movie needed with no complaints and has done so for ten years (even basing Thanksgiving and Christmas family festivities around the seeing films). In 2015 Sis ran the entire RunPee enterprise herself, while RunPee Dan, Jilly and Mom went traipsing off to Europe. Sis is the spider in the web holding the RunPee family together — besides being a funny, well rounded person, and a joyous pleasure to be around. Her favorite films start and end with horror (which thank goodness she’s happy to see, since most of us don’t have the stomach for it) — but also likes silly comedies, sad dramas, and musicals of all types. If you’ve used a Peetime for a scary film, you probably have RunPee Sis to thank for it.
Favorite movie genre: Horror, horror, and more horror. The more disturbing, the better. Period.
