Vinnie Jones has had a prolific film career since his first appearance in Guy Ritchie’s Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels in 1998. Indeed, he has appeared in more than 60 features since then, rarely taking any time off from the screen.
Jones has a few projects in the pipeline, with Overtown among the most exciting. There has been no official release date for the movie, however, with reports suggesting that it is delayed.

Jones Will Appear Alongside Danny Trejo
Jones has starred in movies alongside some of the world’s best-known stars, often taking on the role of a hardman that says more through action than words. His career has been similar to Danny Trejo’s, with the American actor boasting an even greater filmography than the Brit. The latter has acted in more than 250 filn and television roles, making him one of the busiest people every to grace the screen.
Jones and Trejo are a match made in heaven, and it will be interesting to see what the dynamic is like between them when they get together in Overtown. What people are saying
about the RunPee app.

Love love love this app. And, after receiving an email from Dan (the creator) that read as though it was a one-on-one communication sent only to me, I felt compelled to leave a long-overdue review. My son and I are absolutely addicted to this app…especially since I discovered it at the onset of the Marvel craze. Now we use it to confirm if there is a scene following the credits. Often times, we are the ONLY ones there watching the bonus scene…and it cracks us up. LOL! Thanks, RunPee!

Actor Still Prolific Across Various Mediums
Jones is in the twilight years of his career at the age of 59, but he’s still prolific across a range of mediums. Along with starring in major Hollywood blockbusters like Deadpool 2, the Watford-born actor takes on plenty of smaller roles in lesser-known pictures like Overtown. He’s also played various characters on television, enabling him to gain fame with a wider audience. Some of his best parts on the smaller screen have been in Arrow and Deception.
Jones has also allowed his fanbase to get to know him on a more personal level, with appearances on reality shows like Top Gear and Celebrity Big Brother. He’s even the host of a new card game, Vinnie Jones Card Chase at The Hippodrome Online Casino. The live casino based in the UK has a range of table games to choose from, but this is the most unique of all its offerings.
Best Role in Recent Years on Netflix
Jones’s best parts were arguably in his early years working on Ritchie’s pictures, so it was great when the pair reunited in 2024 for the Netflix series, The Gentlemen. The action comedy television series is an adaptation of Ritchie’s 2019 picture of the same name, with a different cast and an altered storyline.
Jones plays the part of a gamekeeper at the grand manor in the series, initially serving as a supporting character. His involvement increases throughout the series, and he has some great moments. In fact, some would say it’s his best performance in a long time.
Jones will likely steal the show in Overtown when it is eventually released, but there’s no official date for that yet. In the meantime, the best way to enjoy the actor could be in his casino game or on Netflix.
