Robert Redford has been doing movies for over 50 years, and even though some were not well received at the box office, his acting was never in question. Besides being a great actor, he’s also known for his humanitarian efforts. Even though Robert is now hanging up his thespian hat — a great loss for fans — I’m sure he’ll continue to make this world a better place.

Redford seems to have drawn on his best loved character, The Sundance Kid, as an inspiration for his final role as Forrest Tucker, in his swan song movie, The Old Man & The Gun. I feel that he wanted to leave his fans with the same feeling we had after watching Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid: amazed, entertained, and loving this great actor.
