The Strangers: Chapter 1 was a great beginning to what will hopefully be a great trilogy. The storyline was nothing that we haven’t seen before but it was the way they told the story and acted it out. The absolute star of the movie is Madelaine Petsch. She plays Maya, the female lead. I’ve loved her since Riverdale. She played Cheryl Blossom and was the absolute best in the series. There is something about her that is so mesmerizing; she’ll take your breath away.
I love how they created the world, showed us what to kind of expect but left us in the dark about The Strangers. They have set it up perfectly to add more movies. I did research last night and was able to confirm two more on the way, so I can guarantee you I’ll be there on opening night.

This would make a great date night movie. It’s about how a couple can work together to survive, or do they survive? Go watch it for yourselves and see.
Grade: B+
About The Peetimes: I found 2 Peetimes that work wonderfully. They were easy to summarize and they are both long enough to take care of business.
There are extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of The Strangers: Chapter 1.
