The Naked Gun was absolutely hilarious. Liam Neeson nailed it. I had my doubts, I know Neeson has his skills, but would they pay off playing Frank Drebin Jr.? Yep. His delivery was flawless.

I noticed about halfway through the movie that my cheeks were hurting. I realized I was grinning from the beginning. There were a ton of lol moments. The whole audience enjoyed it, it’s been quite some time since I heard such a rowdy crowd.

Pamela Anderson did a great job, too. I loved what she did to her voice for the role. She’s still got it, her figure hasn’t changed since Baywatch. She and Neeson have some pretty hot chemistry.

If you want to have a fun date night, I highly recommend this one. Such fun!!

Best app ever!

RunPee is the only app we use before movies and afterward. not only does RunPee tell you when it’s a good time to leave the theater, kids these days ask if there’s anything during/after the credits, and RunPee lets parents know when there might be some thing that a kid might miss!

RunPee has tidbits, ratings, leave the theater times, and lengths. This is THE VITAL APP for watching any movie!

We used it when my wife was pregnant, and we have recommended it to every pregnant gal we know! How else can you enjoy a movie when you have to go out so often?!

  1. Did we see the same movie?? I truly had high hopes for this but apparently the director never saw the original naked Gun or Airplane. I was at minimum hoping for, “and don’t call me Shirley”. They also totally ripped off the plot from Kingsman with everyone fighting each other. There were a few laughable spots. I would give this a C at best.

  2. Shawn I too was wondering if they saw the same movie, I MAYBE laughed 4 times, (One of course was the bike and the car as that was in the original) Did Neesen do a good job, I think he did great, it just was not funny and some things you could see coming way before they did and others (coffee anyone) got tired. I was in a theater early that had myself and 2 other people, (not together) they left about half way threw, and I was thinking so also. Maybe its me but it just did not have the feel of the original and the comedy was forced. I would give it a D

    1. It’s so interesting how wide ranging the opinions are for this movie. 373 People have rated the movie in the Peeple’s Poll. It has a 7.2 expectation and a 7.8 final rating. That’s pretty solid, especially for a comedy like this.

Something that movie ratings systems rarely give is the distribution of votes. That’s something that I’m going to add to the RunPee app, eventually. Some movies might have a tight bell curve, while other movies are spread out. I can’t wait to see the curve for different movies.
