If Zac Efron doesn’t earn an award for this movie, I’ll be massively disappointed. His performance knocked my Santa hat off. This is not a joke, but he brought me to tears. This movie was so well done that I felt the story deep inside my bones. It’s almost like I was saturated with emotion.
I remember the Von Erich’s from when I was younger but never had any idea of their curse. This family went through hell and back again. Losing all their sons except Kevin Von Erich in such a short amount of time is heartbreaking. They did a great job with the story, they had to make a few changes to the production, but you’ll get the overall meaning behind the scenes.

I have had a long-running feud with A24 Productions, I’ll say this….I trashed some of their movies and received some terrible backlash over it, I still stand by those earlier reviews, but this one…was a Christmas Miracle! I loved it. This is my top pick for the year and I want to thank A24 for making an absolutely riveting movie that I’ll carry with me for years to come.
