I love it when I’m dreading a movie and it turns out to be outstanding. That is precisely what happened with The Forge. What a strong, powerful, heartwarming story.
Luckily, my granddaughter was there to see it with me, and it reached her. She could see what hard work, determination, and the right attitude can accomplish for you.

The acting was splendid. At first, I didn’t like the character Isaiah. He was selfish, rude, and disrespectful. By the end of the movie, he was an upstanding young man.
I think this would be a great family movie. Perhaps catch this film, grab a bite to eat, and talk to your children about what they just witnessed.
Grade: A
About The Peetimes: There are 2 Peetimes to pick from. I’d go with the 1st one; it’s much longer.
There are extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of The Forge.
