I feel that The Boogeyman delivered exactly what it promised. Are you afraid of the dark or worried about what lurks in the shadows? Fret not, this movie can help you conquer those fears. Let’s just take my granddaughter as an example, she’s ten years old and won’t sleep without a nightlight. I believe that is the exact target audience this movie wants to provide chills and thrills. They nailed it. Before the first ten minutes were over she had already thrown the shared armrest up and promptly situated herself onto my lap. There were a ton of jumping out of your seat and spilling your popcorn moments. My granddaughter sure did.
I liked all the acting; everyone did a fine enough job. What deserves some attention is the soundtrack. They played such ominous and foreboding music that besides jumping throughout the whole movie, my feisty granddaughter covered her ears a number of times. I feel like I need to clarify that my granddaughter is a daredevil. She likes being scared, just as long as one of us adults are nearby.

I’m giving this movie a B. It’s not an A list for sure, but it fits a B to a tee. Have fun and enjoy some spooky time.
Grade: B
About The Peetimes: I’ve got 2 great Peetimes for you. Although hard to do, I was able to find these moments keeping you from missing any of the great shock scenes.

about the RunPee app.
This is a great app. I wish more people would support it
This app provides info about movies, reviews, ratings from people who have seen it before and after viewing. It has links to info about the movies. It let's you know when there will be a lull in the action and how long it will last. If you want to know what happens during that time, you can check the brief synopsis (you have to click a link, so no accidental spoilers). It has a timer you can set (silent) to alert you to a break. It also tells you whether there is anything extra during or after the credits. It's really a wonderful app. I've subscribed for a couple of years to support the developers, but I noticed some of the links to provide feedback didn't seem to work today. They also made it free, with voluntary donations to see the pee-times. If you haven't tried it, I encourage you to do so, and subscribe if you like it. I really hope the app is supported so it can continue to be maintained!
Developers note: RunPee doesn't make much money but it supports itself nicely. Donations are appreciated, but not required. We'll add as many movies to the database as we can until there are no more movie theaters.

RunPee.com owes RunPee Sis a huge debt of gratitude. She sees any movie needed with no complaints and has done so for ten years (even basing Thanksgiving and Christmas family festivities around the seeing films). In 2015 Sis ran the entire RunPee enterprise herself, while RunPee Dan, Jilly and Mom went traipsing off to Europe. Sis is the spider in the web holding the RunPee family together — besides being a funny, well rounded person, and a joyous pleasure to be around. Her favorite films start and end with horror (which thank goodness she’s happy to see, since most of us don’t have the stomach for it) — but also likes silly comedies, sad dramas, and musicals of all types. If you’ve used a Peetime for a scary film, you probably have RunPee Sis to thank for it.
Favorite movie genre: Horror, horror, and more horror. The more disturbing, the better. Period.
