Jordan Peele went above and beyond (no pun intended) with his masterful storytelling event hilariously titled NOPE. After leaving the theater, my single thought was that I cannot wait to see what he does next.
You can clearly see the influence of M. Night Shyamalan’s Signs (2002) as well as undertones from movies like Jurassic Park (1993) and The Wizard of Oz (1939). I’m incredibly impressed with how he used these influences to create something we’ve never seen before.

Daniel Kaluuya and Keke Palmer did a stellar performance as the Haywood siblings. Keke, who played Emerald Haywood, had some absolutely hysterical lines and carried them out flawlessly. Daniel, who played OJ Haywood, is a master with his facial expressions and left me on the edge of my seat and wanting more.
If you’re going into this expecting just another crappy alien movie, stop right there. I promise it’s not what you think, it’s going to be much more than that.

about the RunPee app.
Brilliant idea with great information
I’ve been using RunPee for a few years now and it’s basically a requirement of going to the movies for me. The best part of course are the “pee times” that give you cues, synopses and times for when you can pee without missing the most important parts of the movie. There is also information about the credits- length, extras and if there are any extra scenes at the wayyy end. Super helpful to just know that it is or isn’t worth staying. There is a timer function that will buzz your phone when it’s a good time to pee. I also appreciate that the app is very conscientious about it being an app you use in a theater- dark background, all silent alarms etc. I will always enjoy the experience of the theater even if I could watch things at home- but I’ve even used it at home to check for things like after credit scenes or other information too.

About The Peetimes: You’ve got 3 solid times to choose from. I recommend the 2nd Peetime as your best bet.
There are extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of Nope.

Plot
The residents of a lonely gulch in inland California bear witness to an uncanny and chilling discovery.
RunPee.com owes RunPee Sis a huge debt of gratitude. She sees any movie needed with no complaints and has done so for ten years (even basing Thanksgiving and Christmas family festivities around the seeing films). In 2015 Sis ran the entire RunPee enterprise herself, while RunPee Dan, Jilly and Mom went traipsing off to Europe. Sis is the spider in the web holding the RunPee family together — besides being a funny, well rounded person, and a joyous pleasure to be around. Her favorite films start and end with horror (which thank goodness she’s happy to see, since most of us don’t have the stomach for it) — but also likes silly comedies, sad dramas, and musicals of all types. If you’ve used a Peetime for a scary film, you probably have RunPee Sis to thank for it.
Favorite movie genre: Horror, horror, and more horror. The more disturbing, the better. Period.

Haven’t seen the movie but I’d appreciate some feedback on why you gave it a B+. You obviously liked the movie based on your comments so why not an A?
I am sorry but did we see different movies, as Nope was a pile, I mean each of Jordan Peele’s movie have gotten worse and worse, Get out, good, US not so good, this one, I think I would rather watch Morbius again then this one. (Yes it was that bad) I mean at one point in the movie I had to use a peetime, and while on my way back I heard the Elvis movie in the theater next door and thought I should go and see that one again as that was good. The acting was good, do not get me wrong and I really liked the special effects (especially behind the horse) But the movie had parts that had nothing to do with the story, (Monkey anyone) and the getting “caught” was pretty much like the movie (I can not think of it but people in a high rise was trying not to get sucked up by aliens) I was so disappointed in this movie I mean if I had to rate it I would give it a D it would have been a f but the special effects save that
