Grade: B-
This was a great movie for kids. It was not scary in the least but there was a vast array of monsters to tickle their imagination.
As for the adults, it dragged a bit. The last twenty or so minutes were very entertaining. There is something about watching animated monsters and animals dance that amuses me greatly.

We watched it in 3-D and weren’t terribly impressed with the effects. It just gave the characters more dimension and nothing really jumped out at you.
I recommend looking at the list of cast members before you go. It makes the movie more enjoyable when your not sitting there thinking, “Who is that?”
The cast was great. There were a lot of notable actors/actresses that did a top notch job.
