This movie offers a glimpse into the life and legacy of the iconic reggae legend Bob Marley. I’m a casual fan – meaning I like his music but I rarely remember to look his music up in my leisure time – so it was nice to know a little more about where he gets his spirit through this movie.
The movie succeeds in capturing the essence of Bob Marley’s philosophy, emphasizing unity and understanding among people. The powerful music becomes the backbone of the film, effectively conveying his messages of social justice, peace, love, and freedom. The soundtrack, featuring Marley’s classic hits, enhances the viewing experience and immerses the audience in the world of his soul-stirring melodies.

However, the film faces some challenges, particularly in its execution. The conversations were hard to follow without subtitles, making it hard to grasp the depth of the conversations fully. The narrative seems choppy at t imes, making the stories challenging to follow and feeling invested in the stories and characters.
Despite these shortcomings, I will give credit to the message it sends and the spirit of Bob Marley. It successfully delivers a positive and uplifting message, highlighting Marley’s enduring impact on the world through his music and advocacy for peace. For casual fans, it offers a taste of Marley’s life and philosophy, but subtitles might be a welcome addition for a smoother viewing experience.

Brilliant idea with great information
I’ve been using RunPee for a few years now and it’s basically a requirement of going to the movies for me. The best part of course are the “pee times” that give you cues, synopses and times for when you can pee without missing the most important parts of the movie. There is also information about the credits- length, extras and if there are any extra scenes at the wayyy end. Super helpful to just know that it is or isn’t worth staying. There is a timer function that will buzz your phone when it’s a good time to pee. I also appreciate that the app is very conscientious about it being an app you use in a theater- dark background, all silent alarms etc. I will always enjoy the experience of the theater even if I could watch things at home- but I’ve even used it at home to check for things like after credit scenes or other information too.

About The Peetimes: I will be honest, it’s hard to do Peetimes for this movie. It’s a bit choppy, and the conversations are hard to follow. I managed to find two Peetimes. I hope that’s sufficient for the fans.
There are extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of Bob Marley: One Love.
