Abigail is a thrilling experience. It blends elements of humor, blood, and guts in all the right ways.

The film excels in balancing the darker aspects of its story with moments of humor, providing much-needed relief from the intense action sequences and dramatic developments. The characters’ witty dialogue and comedic timing add layers of depth to the overall narrative, allowing audiences to connect with the story on a more emotional level.

In terms of visuals, Abigail truly shines with its stunning special effects. The intricate detail of the film creates a sense of wonder and enchantment, drawing viewers into a realm where anything is possible.

But be warned, Abigail doesn’t shy away from showing the harsh realities of its world, including scenes with blood and guts that may not be suitable for the faint of heart. The film’s unflinching portrayal of violence adds a gritty realism to the story, heightening the stakes and showcasing the true dangers that the characters face.

The narrative takes unexpected turns, challenging your expectations and keeping you on the edge of your seat until the very end. I won’t give anything away, but the ending elevated my rating. More often than not it’s the other way around.

Love love love this app. And, after receiving an email from Dan (the creator) that read as though it was a one-on-one communication sent only to me, I felt compelled to leave a long-overdue review. My son and I are absolutely addicted to this app…especially since I discovered it at the onset of the Marvel craze. Now we use it to confirm if there is a scene following the credits. Often times, we are the ONLY ones there watching the bonus scene…and it cracks us up. LOL! Thanks, RunPee!

  1. Witty dialogue and well-developed characters are what can really elevate a genre film. Sounds like Abigail might be more than just your typical gore-fest.
