Onward is a Pixar film set in a suburban fantasy world about two brothers, Ian and Barley (voiced Tom Holland and Chris Pratt respectively), on a quest to reunite with their deceased father. Also voicing characters in the movie are Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Laurel Lightfoot, the mother, and Octavia Spencer as Manticore.

The Pixar Theory
There’s a widely popular fan theory revolving around the Pixar movies, creatively called The Pixar Theory, that proposes that every Pixar movie, from Dinosaurs to Toy Story 4, are all set in the same universe. If you’re a big Pixar fan, and have 26 minutes to kill, I highly recommend the video below. It will make you rethink every Pixar movie. (And the witch in Brave… will blow your mind.)
It will be interesting to see how OnWard fits into this theory. Maybe it breaks the theory, or maybe it will definitely resolve the questions. We’ll soon find out.

Movie Watching Must Have!!
I go feral for this app. I love it so much and I wish everyone knew about it and used it. It is incredibly useful and I would be devastated if this app ever disappeared. Things I love: 1) the pee times! It’s so handy to know the best time to go and then read the synopsis of what’s happening while I’m gone. I never have to worry about missing the good bits! 2) knowing if there is a post-credits scene or not. This might be my fav feature because I would have missed out on some pretty critical scenes if it weren’t for RunPee. 3) the movie review and viewer rankings. This info has made me watch some movies that I normally wouldn’t and it’s nice seeing things outside of my usual scope. 4) that it’s a small family run business. Although the Pixar Theory isn’t considered canon, I’m sure at this point there won’t be any trouble fitting it into the plan by Pixar fans.
I look forward to seeing if there is chemistry between Spider-Man and Star Lord in OnWard. Honestly, I think Chris Pratt has natural chemistry with everyone, and so far Tom Holland has yet to disappoint.
