I’m a huge space nerd. I worked at Space Camp and I’ve talked to dozens of astronauts. Obviously, I was looking forward to this movie, but with a little trepidation because I was curious how they would approach the fake moon landing angle. After seeing the movie, I can say that space nerds like me shouldn’t be concerned. They did it the right way.
Honestly, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it happened just like this. I don’t believe it did, because they didn’t need to fake anything, but this fits with what we would expect of that administration.

The romance plot was fairly dull, but I see why it had to be in the story. And there was practically no humor in the movie other than the absurdity of the fake landing idea. But still, it managed to be a decent movie in unexpected ways.
I love how they weaved the fake moon landing story into the history of what happened. I wouldn’t suggest th at anyone rush out and see this movie, but if you’re a fan of either Scarlett Johansson or Channing Tatum then you won’t hate this movie. And Woody Harrelson plays a role that is just perfect for him.
Grade: C
About The Peetimes: I tried to find a Peetime before the 30-minute mark of a movie, but it just wasn’t possible this time. I did manage to find one around 33 minutes. (Close enough for government work, right?) I think the first and second Peetimes are best. The third Peetime is the last break before the climax of the movie.

about the RunPee app.
Must have app if you love the movies
If you’re like me and enjoy a 92oz soda as part of the movie experience, you’ll be thankful for this app telling you the best times to go for a quick break. Whether that’s to refill your soda or recycle it.
Possibly an even better feature is the info on if the movie has after credits scenes. There’s nothing worse than sitting there reading about who the key grip was, then finding out that’s all you did. I blame Marvel for the stupid trend.
Seriously, I see a dozen movies a month and use this app every single time. Worth every Penny of the infinity coin thing I bought.
