The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is like watching the Dallas Cowboys play the Washington Redskins. You know the Redskins are going to make a game of it for a while but in the end you know the Cowboys are going to win. Even so it’s still fun watching the game, unless your a Redskins fan. Which in this analogy would be equivalent to you being an evil sorcerer. 🙂
( Sorry, there are a lot of RunPee/Redskins fans and I just love having fun with them. )
Here’s how you can tell if you should see this movie. There is a scene that recreates the scene in Fantasia where Micky uses magic to clean the house. If you think, “Oh God, not this again,” then maybe you should skip this movie. But if instead you think, “Oh cool. They’re redoing the classic scene from Fantasia,” then you might just enjoy this movie.

What Sorcerer’s Apprentice really has going for it is a fast pace. After the first 20 minutes or so of the movie the scenes come quick and there’s plenty of action and chuckles – which makes it real hard to get PeeTimes. They don’t dwell on one story line for very long. Nor do they waste time developing unimportant characters. Each scene serves its purpose and then they move on.
And I really liked Nickolas Cage in this role. Very good choice. Of course Alfred Molina is an excellent bad guy. He should be. He’s had enough practice.

Movie Watching Must Have!!
I go feral for this app. I love it so much and I wish everyone knew about it and used it. It is incredibly useful and I would be devastated if this app ever disappeared. Things I love: 1) the pee times! It’s so handy to know the best time to go and then read the synopsis of what’s happening while I’m gone. I never have to worry about missing the good bits! 2) knowing if there is a post-credits scene or not. This might be my fav feature because I would have missed out on some pretty critical scenes if it weren’t for RunPee. 3) the movie review and viewer rankings. This info has made me watch some movies that I normally wouldn’t and it’s nice seeing things outside of my usual scope. 4) that it’s a small family run business. I love shopping small and it really does feel like I’m part of the RunPee family! If you reach out to them, Dan will personally respond to you and he is so warm and helpful. GET THIS APP AND THEN SUBSCRIBE! It is absolutely worth it and you’ll be using it again and again!

Creator and developer of the RunPee app. When something doesn’t work right in the app it’s pretty much his fault. 🙂
Aspiring author. Would like to finish his “Zombie Revelations” trilogy if he could break away for working on RunPee and the cottage he’s building for RunPee Mom.

The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is the latest film of Jon Turteltaub, the director of successful franchise National Treasure. The film is a fantasy adventure and action. The cast for the film is one of a kind: The lead character, the master sorcerer Balthazar Blake is portrayed by Nicolas Cage and it seems he has managed to break the curse. Another character we see as much as Nicolas Cage is his apprentice Dave Stutler, portrayed by Jay Baruchel. As he always manages to bring any character, even the most one or two dimensional and absurd ones to believable real life characters with a sense of humour that his portrayal of Dave Stutler is so much fun to watch. The other stunning actors are beautiful and talented actress Monica Belluci and Alfred Molina. Molina is the villain in this story, and just like he incredibly played the villain in Spider Man movies, his portrayal of Balthazar Blake’s arch nemesis Maxim Horvath is legendary. The film is partly based on Disney’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.
