When I tell people about RunPee and what I do for a living, I often get the response, “You’re so lucky you get to watch movies for a living.” But, as we all know, not all movies are good, and I often have to watch movies that are absolutely not in my wheelhouse. Like this one.

But you know, I don’t mind watching movies that aren’t my type as long as they are well made. And you know what? I think this movie was pretty well done. There’s nothing amazing about this movie, but it has solid all-around performances for the entire cast and especially by the main characters played by Allison Williams, McKenna Grace, Dave Franco, and Mason Thames. Oh, and not that he had a big role or anything, but it was cool seeing Clancy Brown playing a non-menacing character for once. 🙂

The story wasn’t exactly riveting, but everything moved at a natural pace. I didn’t feel like they tried to milk the drama. Each scene did what it needed to do and moved on. Most of all, the character’s motivations were well defined and they never broke. That’s something common I’ve noticed in poorly written dramas: the tendency to try to over-dramatize a scene at the expense of character continuity.

While there’s nothing fantastic about this movie, there’s also nothing bad. It does it’s job and keeps a good pace to the end.

One of the most useful apps I've ever come across. I've used it for years and recommended it to all my friends. Even if I'm not the type to have to pee during movies often, being able to pull up the app and pass my phone to my mom/friend/grandma so that they know when to go to the bathroom has been invaluable. Because then I don't have to summarize anything when they get back!!

About The Peetimes: There’s obviously a lot of drama. I tried to keep those scene out of the Peetimes, especially those with Claire.

The third Peetime is a music montage. It’s the best Peetime of the bunch.

There are extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of Regretting You.
