Bruce Willis is scheduled to be in TEN movies coming out 2022, and none of them are in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). I’d love to know why he is making so many movies of dubious quality: bills to pay, lost a bet, trying to increase his IMDb Filmography score? Why Bruce? Why?

And it’s not like he’s working with dog meat in every movie. Among his costars are John Malkovich, John Travolta, Frank Grillo, Luke Wilson, Theo Rossi, Michael Rooker, and Mustafa Shakir.

Here are the ten movies Bruce Willis has coming to theaters this year, with a brief plot summary. See what you think:

I’ve loved this app for years and use it at the theater and home. Super easy to use and so helpful to know when it’s a good time to run for the restroom. I notify my kids when it’s close to time, so I don’t end up running them to the restroom multiple times. (Updated review from 4 to 5 . I’d had an issue with the app while at the theater and it was quickly resolved with FANTASTIC customer service. Thanks, RunPee!)

We were literally just wondering why Bruce Willis hasn’t been in a lot of movies lately, and the answer is here: he’s been saving them all up for 2022.

I guess the initial plan wasn’t really to release ten minor films in one year, but we all know how the pandemic has changed the face of cinema. Things are backed up and put off. Maybe Bruce just wants to get these movies off his schedule, do or die.

Do any of these non-blockbusters sound exciting to you? A few could be good. Hard to know — these seem like Liam Neeson-type actioners. Which is not a compliment. We like Liam at his best, but his choices sometimes seem like he wants to be a B (or C, even D) movie action star. Bruce shouldn’t follow his lead, but what do we know?

The one movie Vendetta sounds EXACTLY like the remake of the movie he already made a few years ago called “Death Wish” which was not that bad. They all seem to have the same style it sounds like so he will not have to develop a huge different character, be he has already done a few of these last year (Netflix has them, he was in a low budget Space movie and another low budget space movie) But Maybe he just likes acting and wants to get out and not think of all the stuff going on in the world right now, I mean if I was a actor I would do it, to play a part and get away for away, I mean I have been in 4 movies as a extra and that was a blast, so I could feel like it would be something of a escape

  2. You’re right. Maybe he just really enjoys the process and there’s obviously no pressure. He can just come in and do his thing. Plus, he gets to be the big dawg on campus, so to speak.

  3. The Razzie for “Worst Performance by Bruce Willis in a 2021 Movie,” includes the eight feature films that Willis made in 2021, not a single one of which will have a title familiar to anyone but the most inveterate action junkie. The films are as follows:

    — American Siege
    — Apex
    — Cosmic Sin
    — Deadlock
    — Fortress
    — Midnight in the Switchgrass
    — Out of Death
    — Survive the Game
