2022 is in the books! Here’s a collection of all the movie reviews we wrote for the year. Overall it seems like a decent year for movies, at least based on the grades. We reviewed exactly 100 movies for 2022. Twenty-nine movies got a rating in the A-range—that’s almost 1-in-3 movies landing in the A-range. Not bad!
Thirty-eight movies got a grade in the B-range. And together the As and Bs accounted for 67% of movies.
We have agreed here at RunPee that we should only give out one A++ movie a year. That grade is for what we expect will be the best movie we see all year. I have my A++ to Top Gun: Maverick. Christene, my sister, obviously can’t be bothered to keep track because she gave three movies an A++. I’ll have a talk with her about that. 🙂

There were three MCU movies, getting grades of A (Thor: Love and Thunder), B- (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness), and a C+ (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever). But in retrospect, I might drop Thor down to a B+ because honestly, it’s nowhere near as good as Spider-Man: No Way Home which was a solid A+ in 2021.
Since we added a grade for A++ we also included a grade for WTF. Those are for movies that were so bad they shouldn’t have been made. Sis and I both dropped that bomb on one movie each. Studio 666 by me and Men by Sis.

about the RunPee app.
Movie Watching Must Have!!
I go feral for this app. I love it so much and I wish everyone knew about it and used it. It is incredibly useful and I would be devastated if this app ever disappeared. Things I love: 1) the pee times! It’s so handy to know the best time to go and then read the synopsis of what’s happening while I’m gone. I never have to worry about missing the good bits! 2) knowing if there is a post-credits scene or not. This might be my fav feature because I would have missed out on some pretty critical scenes if it weren’t for RunPee. 3) the movie review and viewer rankings. This info has made me watch some movies that I normally wouldn’t and it’s nice seeing things outside of my usual scope. 4) that it’s a small family run business. I love shopping small and it really does feel like I’m part of the RunPee family! If you reach out to them, Dan will personally respond to you and he is so warm and helpful. GET THIS APP AND THEN SUBSCRIBE! It is absolutely worth it and you’ll be using it again and again!

Note: our rule is that we only get to use one A++ grade per year. Obviously my sister doesn’t know how to count. 🙂
