Mulan

2020 New Movie Review – Mulan (Live action Disney version)
This Live Action, mostly serious adventure version is a whole different movie than the musically rollicking animated classic you remember. But both are good. Here’s what to expect, and why you might want to hold off on taking the little ones.

Is Mulan A True Story?

Is Mulan A True Story? Answered by a native Chinese
The question still evokes a lot of discussions, but just like the Homeric epics Iliad and Odyssey, Mulan is thought to be loosely based on some facts.

Scoob!

Scoob! And the new Hannah-Barbara Universe
The wacky world of self-referential cartoons returns from our childhood for a new shared universe – with Scooby Doo, the Jetsons, Dastardly & Muttley, Captain Caveman, and a lot of old favorites you barely remember. *Scoob!* laid the groundwork for what’s to come with a lot of …yes, “clues” we found hidden in the film.

The Personal History of David Copperfield

2020 New Movie Review – The Personal History of David Copperfield
We’re including this movie because it came out in theaters Jan 2020 – when we all assumed we’d have new releases forever. Then CoVid hit the world and we had none. Weekly progress diary on RunPee:NX
We are rebuilding the RunPee app from scratch using Google Flutter. Here’s a brief report on our weekly progress:

Work is progressing again on the update. I’m running behind the schedule I set up for myself, but then I always knew that was wishful thinking. This reminds me of one of my favorite quotes by the author Douglas Adams: I love deadlines; especially the whooshing noise they make as the go past.

My New Hope is that the app will be ready for beta testers before the end of the September and then spend about a month with testing and getting the update feature complete for a late October release.
