Not the MCU’s best work. In my book, The Eternals falls in the bottom tier of MCU movies. Here’s my breakdown, the logic behind it, and why this epic new Marvel Universe flick trundles by with a C. |

The French Dispatch I’m a fan of Wes Anderson movies myself, not just because of the bizarre stories he likes to tell in a bizarre way, but the visual aspect of them. His movies usually offer such a beautiful and unique experience, The French Dispatch is no exception. Grade: B |
|
A Mouthful of Air I’m grading this movie on its technical and artistic merits. Because if I graded it on how it made me feel, I’d give it an F. Maybe that was the point — to make the audience feel like crap. Grade: A+ |
|
Spencer I honestly hope Spencer garners the attention it deserves. I feel some awards should be received, definitely for Stewart but also some of the supporting cast. I hope you give this movie a chance and witness the greatness that I did. Grade: A+ |

Fatboy Slim’s Weapon Of Choice is definitely about Dune Whether you’re using The Voice or walking without rhythm to evade deadly sandworms, it’s clear Fatboy Slim is a Dune fan. Bonus: the video with Christopher Walken FLYING around a deserted hotel atrium is inspired. Enjoy the lyrics and video here! |

Indie Movie Review – The Pebble And The Boy There were comparisons that sprang to my mind between The Pebble And The Boy and The Last Bus. Both are quintessentially British films, both feature a road trip, both feature a lost character finding his way, both feature the essential kindness of strangers, and both feature a plan to take someone’s ashes to their final resting place. Grade: B- |

Indie Movie Review – Demigod Synonyms are odd; “come to my cottage in the forest” sounds fine, “get to my cabin in the woods” is somewhat less enticing. Everything is now in place for the chills and thrills to start, and start they most certainly do! What follows is about an hour and a half’s worth of tension and excitement. Grade: B- |
