I’ve read the Dune series more times than I remember. And I’ve seen every video adaption made, numerous times. I can come close to quoting the character’s dialog line-for-line. Therefore, I can only review the movie from the standpoint of a fan.

I’ll try to add a few Peetimes for this movie while the trailers are running for my second movie. Expect to see some Peetimes drop around 9:00 PM Eastern, Thursday night.

I should have Peetimes done around midnight Eastern.

	NEW in theaters: Movie Review – Ron’s Gone Wrong I recently watched the awesome The Mitchells vs. the Machines. That movie is very close to Ron’s Gone Wrong. It’s almost the same movie. I feel that ‘The Mitchells’ was much funnier and more engaging. This movie was still cute, though, and I would recommend it for the younger crowd. Grade: B+
	Dune – What is the Litany Against Fear (and why should we care)? Can an old science fiction book from the 60s offer modern man any surfeit from modern pain? The Litany Against Fear is a good balm for the soul, a salve to one’s agitation, and simply a soothing chant to memorize for times of emotional turmoil. Here’s the litany and why you need to put a copy in your wallet.
	Movie Rewatch: Austin Powers 3 – Goldmember With a long-awaited new Bond movie finally in theaters, we’re finishing up an official James Bond rewatch, along with making sure we have reviews of all the best 007 spoofs. Here’s the topper of the Austin Powers trilogy…but it’s just not as fun as the first two. Here’s why UK RunPeep Rob didn’t like Goldmember. Grade: C-
	Indie Movie Review – The Mutation I mean it’s not as though we haven’t got a history of mad scientist stories going back to “The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”. Perhaps it was to distract from The Mutation itself being painfully obviously a guy in a suit; the physical proportions and movement did not make me think “rat” — but “guy with furry fetish”.Grade: D+
	Indie Documentary Review: Smoke And Mirrors – The Story Of Tom Savini Smoke And Mirrors: The Story Of Tom Savini is a documentary about the life of Thomas Vincent Savini. I recognized him from his appearances in From Dusk Till Dawn, Planet Terror, and Django Unchained. Grade: B+
