Fantasy Island started off slow and became a fairly solid movie towards the last half. Early on I wasn’t bonding with the characters — it felt forced and really fake at first glance. But then they stepped up the game.
Once we were thoroughly into the story, and we’d learned a thing or two about the characters, it got much better. (A little over half-way.) They threw a few twists out and I started paying a little more attention. Then they went and threw another curve ball, and they had me. I had to know what was going to happen because I thought I already had it figured out.
The acting was all fairly even across the board; no one fell flat, but no one really shined. It’s a solid rental movie: I can’t endorse the full movie price, but it’s worth the time to watch it at home.

I do have to add that the final scene was most definitely the best scene. That one got a laugh out of me.
Grade: C+
About The Peetimes: I have 2 solid Peetimes for you. I did not get any during the last half, due to the fact that the movie has many surprises that are all linked together. If you miss any part of the last half, you’ll struggle to catch up.
What people are saying
about the RunPee app.
This is a great app. I wish more people would support it
This app provides info about movies, reviews, ratings from people who have seen it before and after viewing. It has links to info about the movies. It let's you know when there will be a lull in the action and how long it will last. If you want to know what happens during that time, you can check the brief synopsis (you have to click a link, so no accidental spoilers). It has a timer you can set (silent) to alert you to a break. It also tells you whether there is anything extra during or after the credits. It's really a wonderful app. I've subscribed for a couple of years to support the developers, but I noticed some of the links to provide feedback didn't seem to work today. They also made it free, with voluntary donations to see the pee-times. If you haven't tried it, I encourage you to do so, and subscribe if you like it. I really hope the app is supported so it can continue to be maintained!
Developers note: RunPee doesn't make much money but it supports itself nicely. Donations are appreciated, but not required. We'll add as many movies to the database as we can until there are no more movie theaters.

RunPee.com owes RunPee Sis a huge debt of gratitude. She sees any movie needed with no complaints and has done so for ten years (even basing Thanksgiving and Christmas family festivities around the seeing films). In 2015 Sis ran the entire RunPee enterprise herself, while RunPee Dan, Jilly and Mom went traipsing off to Europe. Sis is the spider in the web holding the RunPee family together — besides being a funny, well rounded person, and a joyous pleasure to be around. Her favorite films start and end with horror (which thank goodness she’s happy to see, since most of us don’t have the stomach for it) — but also likes silly comedies, sad dramas, and musicals of all types. If you’ve used a Peetime for a scary film, you probably have RunPee Sis to thank for it.
Favorite movie genre: Horror, horror, and more horror. The more disturbing, the better. Period.
