Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
Planned for March 2022, it now time-travels to May 6, 2022. I’m mean, it’s Dr. Strange. That’s his thing: time travel. Maybe we’re caught up in some sort of Strangian-loop and this movie will never be released.

Thor: Love and Thunder
Most recently planned for May 6th, Dr. Strange: MoM bumped Thor’s release date back to July 8, 2022.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever
The game of “But wait, that was my release date” continues. BP:WF was scheduled for July 8th but Thor hammered them out of the way. Now BP:WF falls back to November 11, 2022.

The Marvels
There’s no room left in 2022 for new MCU movies so The Marvels slides to the first 2023 release on February 17.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania
Now planned for July 28, 2023.

Untitled and dateless

Two untitled Marvel movies originally set for 2023 have been pulled entirely from the calendar. The two untitled MCU movies that were pulled were scheduled for July 28 and October 6. These delays are reportedly due to production concerns and not box office results.

Brilliant idea with great information

I’ve been using RunPee for a few years now and it’s basically a requirement of going to the movies for me. The best part of course are the “pee times” that give you cues, synopses and times for when you can pee without missing the most important parts of the movie. There is also information about the credits- length, extras and if there are any extra scenes at the wayyy end. Super helpful to just know that it is or isn’t worth staying. There is a timer function that will buzz your phone when it’s a good time to pee. I also appreciate that the app is very conscientious about it being an app you use in a theater- dark background, all silent alarms etc. I will always enjoy the experience of the theater even if I could watch things at home- but I’ve even used it at home to check for things like after credit scenes or other information too.

  1. Damn it. Big sigh. Thanks for this update. I’m most bummed about Love and Thunder. I could use some goofy humor after these last two years. I’m also wondering, along these lines, if GotG vol 3 will EVER happen. I trust that the movies we’re seeing next will be important to the ongoing storyline…but I don’t want to see ‘new characters’ like with The Eternals and whatever. I want to catch up with my ‘friends’.

I also want to see what happens with the multiverse after the events in WandaVision and Loki. I know it’s still coming, but I feel like we’ve been waiting so long for these movies already.

In another note, I want to see how Black Panther 2 falls out with the T’Challa situation. I have theories. It’s a sad thing for everyone with Chadwick Boseman, but as the BP character and Wakanda are essential to the MCU, it’s hard to keep waiting when we know these movies are already in the can.
