Holy bladder-bursters Batman, your new film is almost 3 hours long

The one-hundred and seventy-five-minute runtime make The Batman the third-longest movie since the RunPee app was created 13 years ago. You’re definitely going to need our Peetimes for this one or you’ll be squirming when you should be enjoying.

Here’s our data on the 16 longest wide-release movies since we started adding Peetimes to the database, and whether movies have been steadily getting longer.

RunPee News

NEW in theaters: Redeeming Love (2022)
To my great surprise and pleasure, Redeeming Love is a wonderful film about the Wild West, the Gold Rush, and women’s agency. It’s never boring, the characters are well-drawn and acted, the costumes are perfection, and the story is engaging throughout. Outstanding scenery. Trigger Warning: Difficult scenes of horrific abuse against women and little girls. FYI.
Grade: A
Non-Christmas Christmas Movies – Riders Of Justice/Retfærdighedens Ryttere (2020)
Is it worth a look? Definitely! Mind you, I’ve already said I’ll watch Mads Mikkelsen in anything. It just so happens that in this case he’s a — presumably but not stated –special forces soldier, and pulls off the action scenes with aplomb.
Grade: A
Streaming Movie Review – The Tragedy Of Macbeth (2021)
Think Shakespeare is boring? Try this version on for size. This Macbeth is awesome. Shot in stark black and white, academy ratio, and on a starkly geometric set redolent of German Expressionism, with Denzel Washington at the top of his game.
Grade: A+
Indie Movie Review – Confession (2022)
Confession is a beautifully acted piece. The main cast is spellbinding. I’ve known that about Colm Meaney. Stephen Moyer has just started popping up on my radar despite a rich and varied career. I’ll be keeping an eye out for his future roles!
Grade: B+
Indie Movie Review – First Date (2022)
So I’ll say that First Date definitely has the seemingly chaotic, peri-random plotting of a Pulp Fiction, but it also should be borne in mind that there is more than just a whiff of the Coen Brothers as well; particularly Raising Arizona and Fargo.
Grade: B+
