NEW Movie Review - Let Him Go

NEW Movie Review – Let Him Go
We had one new big screen movie to get Peetimes for this week, and it was great. I have to say, this isn’t what I was expecting from the trailers I saw. It’s a surreal movie, saturated with scenery and raw emotions. It almost had a noir feel about it. I hope this movie garners some awards. It would be well deserved.

Throughout, the setting is sumptuous, impressive both inside and out in the snow-locked mountains. Note how often mirrors, reflections, and distorted images work to carry the themes of identity and madness.

If you’ve never been spoiled as to whodunnit, you’ll appreciate that all the clues are there to follow for the astute viewer!

Movie Review – The Last Bus Movie Review – The Last Bus

So… a matter of weeks after writing an article about Timothy Spall, I get an email inviting me to preview a screening of his latest film: The Last Bus. I have to say that it’s a very British film and might not get a very big release across the Atlantic.

How British is very British?

Fair warning: There might be people who will find The Last Bus a bit raw if they’ve suffered the same or similar bereavements or bad news.

TV Series Pilot Review – Piss Off, I Love You TV Series Pilot Review – Piss Off, I Love You

Also along the lines of Brit entertainment, it seems like this is going to be a jolly nice little “fish out of water” sitcom. The fish being the writer, director, producer, and star Jessie McCormack, as an American presenter brought over to London to present a series highlighting the differences between the UK and the USA.

Indie Movie Review - The Luring Indie Movie Review – The Luring

“The Luring” features the red balloon from “It”, the descent into madness from “The Shining”, and the weird child from, well, pick any from “The Omen”, “The Orphanage”, “The Babdook”,”Insidious”, and any number of other examples of the genre. Too bad this film sucks.

RunPee:NX Weekly progress diary on RunPee:NX
We are rebuilding the RunPee app from scratch using Google Flutter. Here’s a brief report on our weekly progress:

This week I’m adding the Peeple’s Poll and also working to add a lot more movie data to the database. Over the years we’ve added more and more fields to track, like genre, rating, etc. But we never took the time to go back and update the older movies in our database.

Don’t miss your favorite movie moments because you have to pee or need a snack. Use the RunPee app (Androidor iPhone) when you go to the movies. We have Peetimes for all wide release films every week, including Tenet, 2 Hearts, The Empty Man, Honest Thief, and more. We have literally thousands of Peetimes -- from classic movies through today's blockbusters. You can also keep up with movie news and reviews on our blog, or by following us on Twitter @RunPee. If there's a new film out there, we've got your bladder covered.
