It Lives Inside was better than I thought it would be. I honestly didn’t know much about it going in, that worked out well for me because I had no expectations. So when I left, I left happy.

One of the things I really enjoyed is the movie makers are giving us more movies that highlight other cultures. I enjoyed seeing the Indian traditions and their folklore. By the time it was over I was craving Indian food.

The story itself is very similar to so many other movies out there but the big difference was the cultural aspect. I’ve always enjoyed seeing how people who are from completely different backgrounds handle situations. What I’ve learned from viewing these types of movies: we all bleed. In the end we’re all the same. Whether it’s a Chinese background, an Indian background, a Russian background…I could go on and on, it simply comes down to the fact; we all bleed. Bleed too much and you die.

We’ve kicked off the Halloween season with, “It Lives Inside,” if this movie is a clue as to what we’re in store for, color me impressed.

Overall, I’d recommend seeing this flick. It doesn’t scream, “You must see this in the theater!” I would have actually preferred seeing it at home, a few scenes were so dark and the dialog was somewhat hard to hear, so having a rewind button would have been great.

Grade: B-

About The Peetimes: I found two solid Peetimes. I warn you that the movie depends a lot on visuals. I tried to steer clear of those moments.

There are no extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of It Lives Inside.

Love love love this app. And, after receiving an email from Dan (the creator) that read as though it was a one-on-one communication sent only to me, I felt compelled to leave a long-overdue review. My son and I are absolutely addicted to this app…especially since I discovered it at the onset of the Marvel craze. Now we use it to confirm if there is a scene following the credits. Often times, we are the ONLY ones there watching the bonus scene…and it cracks us up. LOL! Thanks, RunPee!
