Thoughts on Monster Universe Rewatch before Godzilla vs Kong

I did a rewatch of Godzilla 2014, Kong: Skull Island, and Godzilla: King of the Monsters in preparation for the release of Godzilla vs King Kong this week (March 31st) in theaters and on HBO Max. Here are my thoughts to get you up to speed for the Monsterverse climax!

New Movies This Week
	Voyagers starring: Colin Farrell, Tye Sheridan, Lily-Rose Depp genres: Adventure, Sci-Fi, Thriller rating: PG-13 Peetimes: We’ll have Peetimes Friday before noon.

	Gold Bond to replace James Bond in No Time for this Movie In a surprise move that shouldn’t have been so surprising, the final Daniel Craig–driven Bond film No Time to Die has been renamed No Time For This Movie, and James himself has been written out. A quick replacement character, his brother Gold, will appear in the film this Fall.
	Godzilla King of the Monsters – all the news clippings from the end credits scene During the first 2 minutes of the end credits during Godzilla: King of the Monsters we see news clippings leading up to the events that happen in Godzilla vs King Kong. Enjoy these barely noticed clues via our screen captures and add your comments below.
	Sundance Film Festival Movie Review – One for the Road This is one of the bittersweet aspects of Sundance, getting to see something wonderful you may never get to see again. Along with R#J, this was one of the two most romantic films I saw at Sundance. I hope it gets released later this year and you get to come along for the ride. Grade: A
	Sundance Film Festival Movie Review – Marvelous and the Black Hole Feel good, funny. There’s nothing not to love in this Sundance Festival film. You might even recognize yourself in this ‘magical’ coming of age story. I’ll say no more. Grade: A
	Economics of Hollywood This video creator does a great job breaking down the topic and adds a fun bit of sarcastic humor. Bonus that he has a nice Aussie accent.
	Children’s Book Review – Tucker’s Countryside (A sequel to The Cricket in Times Square) In a charming follow-up to the classic tale, Chester Cricket’s New York friends Harry Cat and Tucker Mouse are called to the country to save a beautiful meadow from bulldozers. Grade: A-
