No one with a YouTube channel likes Indian Jones and the Dial of Destiny

Read Time:1 Minute, 12 Second

If you want to know how bad Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is, then just watch these two videos.

If you haven’t seen any of the Pitch Meeting videos before, then you are in for a treat. Ryan George does hilarious skits where he’s the writer pitching a movie concept to a producer, also himself but wearing a suit. He does a great job of pointing out all of the flaws that a movie has. I could watch these videos all day long.

You’ll have to take my word for it, there are a few movies that The Critical Drinker has good words for, but those are few and far between, which is a good thing because when he hates a movie, he eviscerates it without remorse. And boy, did he hate Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny.

In Defense of the Creators

I refuse to believe that the writers David Koepp, Jez and John-Henry Butterworth, and the director James Mangold should be held responsible for this travesty of a story. These guys have a pretty good track record for creating quality stories. In some fashion, the suits at Disney placed some constraints on the creators that handcuffed their creative ability because there’s no chance that anyone with a shred of talent could make something this wretched.

Must have app if you love the movies

If you’re like me and enjoy a 92oz soda as part of the movie experience, you’ll be thankful for this app telling you the best times to go for a quick break. Whether that’s to refill your soda or recycle it.

Possibly an even better feature is the info on if the movie has after credits scenes. There’s nothing worse than sitting there reading about who the key grip was, then finding out that’s all you did. I blame Marvel for the stupid trend.

Seriously, I see a dozen movies a month and use this app every single time. Worth every Penny of the infinity coin thing I bought.

Developers note: the RunPee app is now, and always will be, 100% free. Donations are optional.

    Wow!

I’m going to stop reviewing. I must be completely out of touch with what is a good film is.
