I don’t even want to address the controversy over Clint Eastwood and his obvious distaste for the media. All I can say is Eastwood knocked it out of the park, again, with Richard Jewell.
Richard Jewell is a tightly-constructed biography of a man with a lifelong ambition to become a member of law enforcement. His commitment to this goal was well played by Paul Walter Hauser, capturing the pain and frustration felt by Jewell during his troubled life.
I credit Hauser for his fine acting skills as Jewell. However, Eastwood was able to take those skills and fine tune them into an unforgettable performance.

That said, the truly outstanding performance was Kathy Bates as Jewell’s mother. Expect an Oscar nod in her future.
Richard Jewell is an amazing movie, and a very sad story.

My bladder thanks you so much!! App works great for telling u when and for how long you have a pee break! I didn’t use the timer function so the dialog in the movie was a great clue as to when to go. I also liked the info about each movie to know whether there was any extra scenes during or after the credits. Nothing worse than waiting for all the credits and then no extra scene.
