Red DawnThis movie was beyond unbelievable – and not in the good way. The acting was slightly above mediocre. In my opinion the only saving grace was that there were a few decent, not great, action scenes.

Chris Hemsworth is one of my favorite actors. He’s certainly not the best but he is entertaining and very easy to look at. He had to carry the rest of the cast of Red Dawn and that was a job beyond even his powerful presence. I can’t imagine how bad this movie might have been had it not been for his influence.

Josh Peck, who played Matt Eckert, ruined the movie for me. His acting was terrible and I couldn’t stand his character. The casting in this film was way off base.

Josh Hutcherson did a fair job. He has the funniest scene in the movie. Let me rephrase that, he has the only funny line in the movie.

All in all I wouldn’t recommend this movie to anyone and if you feel that you must see it then I’d suggest waiting for the DVD. There’s nothing in this movie that begs for the big screen.

Grade: D-

About The Peetimes: The movie isn’t very long so there’s just the one peetime. I tried to find other peetimes but nothing else worked well enough to be used.

There are no extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of Red Dawn. (What we mean by Anything Extra)

Brilliant idea with great information

I’ve been using RunPee for a few years now and it’s basically a requirement of going to the movies for me. The best part of course are the “pee times” that give you cues, synopses and times for when you can pee without missing the most important parts of the movie. There is also information about the credits- length, extras and if there are any extra scenes at the wayyy end. Super helpful to just know that it is or isn’t worth staying. There is a timer function that will buzz your phone when it’s a good time to pee. I also appreciate that the app is very conscientious about it being an app you use in a theater- dark background, all silent alarms etc. I will always enjoy the experience of the theater even if I could watch things at home- but I’ve even used it at home to check for things like after credit scenes or other information too.
