What was the Merovingian ranting about in Matrix: Resurrections?

Read Time:46 Second

If you’ve seen Matrix: Resurrections you know that the scene with the Merovingian rant is partially undecipherable. Not only does he rant with a thick French accent, but there’s also a fight going on at the same time. Below is a copy of the closed captioning of his lines. I hope it helps.

You? Oh! It is you!

All these years. I can't believe it.

You stole my life!

[Speaking French]

Kill him!

[Fighting ensues]

You ruined every suck-my-silky-ass thing!

We had grace.

We had style.

We had conversation.

Not this...[mimics text message sound]

Art, films, books were all better.

Originality mattered!

You gave us Face-Zucker-suck and Cock-me-climatey-Wiki-piss-and-shit!

[There's a long interlude where Smith and Neo fight]

This is not over yet. Our sequel franchise spinoff!

That’s it. I’ll try to get a translation of his lines in French.

I know that last line in English is wrong. It should be “I will sequel franchise spinoff!”

I keep hearing Couch-flicks-climatey, not Cock-me-climatey, which I understand is a reference to Netflix, that actually makes much more sense considering he’s ranting about art and films.

lol, I know what you mean. It sounded like gibberish to me. I knew that no matter what I thought he said I would be wrong.

Yup, it’s more like “Couch-Flix-climatey”. Probably referencing Netflix, and climate change ?
