Weekly Peeple’s Poll Results for January 27, 2020
Everyone is talking about 1917, and justifiably so because it's an excellent movie, but Just Mercy continues to impress Peeple. By the end of the year both movies will likely be near the top of the favorite movies as voted on by RunPee fans.
We had three new movies out this week. The Last Full Measure scored very well, but that's expected for a movie of this genre. Note that there were only 21 votes submitted for Last Full Measure, so take the score with a dash of scepticism. I did the Peetimes for The Gentlemen and agree with how Peeple rated it...it's a quality movie that starts out a little slow and gradually builds to a rousing ending.
The Turning will be in the running as the worst movie of the year. Yikes. I think only one movie has had a lower score in our voting history. Ironically, that was 2019's The Beach Bum (also) with Matthew McConaughey.
