Warner Bros announced it would premiere Snyder’s Director’s Cut of Justice League in 2021 on the upcoming HBO Max streaming platform. It will be titled Zack Snyder’s Justice League, but far no specific release date or runtime has been announced. Read more.

Weekly progress diary on RunPee:NX
We are rebuilding the RunPee app from scratch using Google Flutter. Here’s a brief report on our weekly progress:

Last week I finished up local storage for movies and Peetimes. That means that the data you download is stored on your device so that you can use the app offline. There are currently about 1700 movies in the RunPee database, and all of those are stored on your phone. That may sound like a lot, but it’s really not. This is all simple text data, and the database file tops out at about 1/4 of a GB. For comparison that would be about 1/16th the size of a typical photo.

This week I’m working on the RunPee Timer. By the next newsletter I should have the Timer fully functional. That will complete the core features of RunPee:NX, and would mean you could, theoretically, use RunPee:NX to go to the theater.

Of course there’s still a lot more to do. Namely the user account, Peeple’s Poll, and such. But I’m more and more optimistic that RunPee:NX will be testable by August and go live a month or so after that.
