I haven’t had this much fun at a movie in a long time. From the beginning, right up to the final line, The Hunt was filled with amazing characters that had such screen presence it oozed off the screen onto the audience.
My theater really enjoyed this film. You know those moments where people talk back to the screen? Tonight, ours had a lot to say. My home base is in Orlando, Florida which was mentioned in the movie. The way it was mentioned and how they did it was too funny. Our crowd went wild. It was a perfectly executed scene.
First off, I’d like to address the feel of the movie. In recent months there have been two other movies that have the same vibe as The Hunt:ย Knives Out and Ready Or Not. They’re somewhat quirky with a strong underlying message. They poke fun at all the controversies going on in America. Our government, and I’m including all sides in this, are making me feel like I’m in junior high again. It’s a he said/she said mess of a popularity contest. I’d like to see them all behind the wood shop after school, brawling it out in the dirt. Or even better, adopt the theme of The Hunt, take all these deplorables, and drop them at “The Manor.” (That last line will make sense after you see the movie.)`

Betty Gilpin did an absolutely outstanding job. Her character Crystal was the highlight of the movie; her performance was so much fun to watch. She looked familiar to me but I couldn’t place her; God bless IMDb. When I looked up her filmography, it hit me where I had seen her: GLOW and Stuber. This supporting actress stands a great chance towards becoming a leading lady that people love to watch.
I was wondering if there would be many people in the theater, since this Coronavirus is invading our territory. My question was answered by a packed theater. People are still willing to go out, and I highly recommend if you’re one of them, take the time to see The Hunt.
Grade: A
About The Peetimes: This movie was a blast to watch. Sadly, it’s short so I picked 1 long Peetime. I feel that after this point too much would be lost in translation.
There are no extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of The Hunt. (What we mean by Anything Extra.)
Rated (R) for strong bloody violence, and language throughout
Genres: Action, Horror, Thriller

Movie Watching Must Have!!
I go feral for this app. I love it so much and I wish everyone knew about it and used it. It is incredibly useful and I would be devastated if this app ever disappeared. Things I love: 1) the pee times! Itโs so handy to know the best time to go and then read the synopsis of whatโs happening while Iโm gone. I never have to worry about missing the good bits! 2) knowing if there is a post-credits scene or not. This might be my fav feature because I would have missed out on some pretty critical scenes if it werenโt for RunPee. 3) the movie review and viewer rankings. This info has made me watch some movies that I normally wouldnโt and itโs nice seeing things outside of my usual scope. 4) that itโs a small family run business. I love shopping small and it really does feel like Iโm part of the RunPee family! If you reach out to them, Dan will personally respond to you and he is so warm and helpful. GET THIS APP AND THEN SUBSCRIBE! It is absolutely worth it and youโll be using it again and again!

RunPee.com owes RunPee Sis a huge debt of gratitude. She sees any movie needed with no complaints and has done so for ten years (even basing Thanksgiving and Christmas family festivities around the seeing films). In 2015 Sis ran the entire RunPee enterprise herself, while RunPee Dan, Jilly and Mom went traipsing off to Europe. Sis is the spider in the web holding the RunPee family together — besides being a funny, well rounded person, and a joyous pleasure to be around. Her favorite films start and end with horror (which thank goodness she’s happy to see, since most of us don’t have the stomach for it) — but also likes silly comedies, sad dramas, and musicals of all types. If you’ve used a Peetime for a scary film, you probably have RunPee Sis to thank for it.
Favorite movie genre: Horror, horror, and more horror. The more disturbing, the better. Period.
