Many people prefer to take a break from everyday life on their days off. On those days, you can visit a theater or restaurant, go for a walk or meet friends, or you can watch a movie in a cinema. Of course, there are those who prefer to watch movies at home. Someone could argue that choosing to watch a movie at home is a weird decision. But in the age of technology, VOD services, and big-screen TVs, this is not such a bad option. Let’s speculate what is better to go to the theater or watch the movie at home.
Going to a cinema gives you emotions
And so what arguments might be in favor of cinemas? It seems that the most important thing is the atmosphere, just the atmosphere of the holiday and the anticipation of what mesmerizing. Also, a big plus of cinemas is a big screen, which is many times bigger than any TV. More cinemas beautiful sound with the effect of Dolby Surround, which further immerses you in the movie.
Few people think about it, but it is these arguments that keep us coming back to the theater again and again. Yes, there are lines and scheduled movies in movie theaters. Yes, you can’t pause or answer the phone. But we go there to get those emotions that you can’t get at home television. Watching at home gives you more freedom
Watching movies at home has its advantages. When you watch a movie at home you can afford much more than in a cinema. You can safely eat all the food you want, you can discuss what is happening in the movie without thinking that can bother someone else. If you need to go somewhere, you can put it on pause and do not miss anything. And the main thing is that you choose when to watch the movie, whether it’s early morning or late evening.
You come home in the evening after a hard day’s work, sit down in a comfortable chair, take your favorite food and start watching. If your home has a good TV with a high-quality picture and sound it’s a pleasure to spend the evening this way.
We have already talked about the atmosphere of cinemas, but at home, we also have our own atmosphere. At home, you can watch movies lying on your favorite sofa with your friends or loved ones, or even with your pets. You can create your own unique atmosphere by lighting candles or garlands and just enjoy the peace and quiet. Or the opposite – dress up with friends in costumes from the movie, turn it on and act out your favorite scenes.
Another important advantage of using VOD services to watch movies is that you can always choose something else. If you don’t like the movie – you just switch to something you like better and don’t get upset that you wasted your time and money on an uninteresting movie.

Movie Watching Must Have!!
I go feral for this app. I love it so much and I wish everyone knew about it and used it. It is incredibly useful and I would be devastated if this app ever disappeared. Things I love: 1) the pee times! It’s so handy to know the best time to go and then read the synopsis of what’s happening while I’m gone. I never have to worry about missing the good bits! 2) knowing if there is a post-credits scene or not. This might be my fav feature because I would have missed out on some pretty critical scenes if it weren’t for RunPee. 3) the movie review and viewer rankings. This info has made me watch some movies that I normally wouldn’t and it’s nice seeing things outside of my usual scope. 4) that it’s a small family run business. I love shopping small and it really does feel like I’m part of the RunPee family! If you reach out to them, Dan will personally respond to you and he is so warm and helpful. GET THIS APP AND THEN SUBSCRIBE! It is absolutely worth it and you’ll be using it again and again!
