In the mid-credit extra scene of the Spider-ManNo Way Home we see Eddie/Venom (Tom Hardy) has been transported from their universe into the universe where Tom Holland’s Spider-Man exists. Eddie sees Spider-Man on TV, and Venom salivates.

Dr. Strange’s spell that accidentally opened up a pathway between parallel universes sucked Eddie/Venom from his world into that of the Marvel Cinematic Universe—MCU.

During the mid-credits scene, we see that Eddie is at a bar on a tropical beach. The bartender tells Eddie about the Avengers, Thanos, the Snap (events that took place in Peter Parker’s universe but not in Eddie’s). Eddie decides he should find Peter, but as he gets up to leave, he’s sucked back into his own universe by Doctor Strange’s second spell that restored the multiverse.

As the scene ends the camera focuses on a drop of black goo left behind. That symbiote could attach itself to anyone and create another Venom.

We do know that another Spider-verse movie, Morbius, starring Jared Leto as the vampire character, is set to debut on January 28, 2022, and exists in the same universe as Parker’s Spider-Man. (Michael Keaton’s Vulture, the villain from the Holland movie Spider-Man: Homecoming, will appear in Morbius.) Sony looks to be building towards a Sinister Six film centered on Spider-Man’s greatest foes.

One of the most useful apps I’ve ever come across. I’ve used it for years and recommended it to all my friends. Even if I’m not the type to have to pee during movies often, being able to pull up the app and pass my phone to my mom/friend/grandma so that they know when to go to the bathroom has been invaluable. Because then I don’t have to summarize anything when they get back!!
