A all the way. When I was a little girl, next to Scooby Doo, the Smurfs was my favorite cartoon. So, as I sat there watching this movie and hearing my granddaughter laugh her little butt off, it made me smile. We both really enjoyed it. She was glued to the screen like a life long fan.
The movie itself is beautiful. The colors are amazing. We watched it in 3D and were pleasantly surprised. It felt like you were immersed in their world. The colors practically dripped off of the screen.
There is a sweet little storyline going on that teaches a nice lesson. All in all, we both really enjoyed it.
About The Peetimes: This is a really short movie, so I gave you an early Peetime and a late Peetime.
There are extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of Smurfs: The Lost Village. (What we mean by Anything Extra.)
Rated (PG) for some mild action and rude humor
Genres: Adventure, Animation, Comedy
Don’t miss your favorite movie moments because you have to pee or need a snack. Use the RunPee app (Android or iPhone ) whenever you go to the movies. (We've been doing this over 10 years now.) We always have Peetimes for the latest wide release films, including OnWard, 1917, Sonic the Hedgehog, etc. You can also keep up with the latest movie news and reviews on our blog or by following us on Twitter @RunPee, and liking us on Facebook.
RunPee.com owes RunPee Sis a huge debt of gratitude. She sees any movie needed with no complaints and has done so for ten years (even basing Thanksgiving and Christmas family festivities around the seeing films). In 2015 Sis ran the entire RunPee enterprise herself, while RunPee Dan, Jilly and Mom went traipsing off to Europe. Sis is the spider in the web holding the RunPee family together — besides being a funny, well rounded person, and a joyous pleasure to be around. Her favorite films start and end with horror (which thank goodness she’s happy to see, since most of us don’t have the stomach for it) — but also likes silly comedies, sad dramas, and musicals of all types. If you’ve used a Peetime for a scary film, you probably have RunPee Sis to thank for it.
Favorite movie genre: Horror, horror, and more horror. The more disturbing, the better. Period.
