For better or for worse, there will be a director’s cut of 2017’s Justice League, created by director Zack Snyder.

Warner Bros announced it would premiere Snyder’s Director’s Cut of Justice League in 2021 on the upcoming HBO Max streaming platform. It will be titled Zack Snyder’s Justice League, but far no specific release date or runtime has been announced.
If you recall, Snyder started out as the director, but didn’t finish due to the death of his daughter — although some say he was on the outs before that. Legendary Joss Whedon (director of: Buffy, Avengers, Age of Ultron) was called in to finish the project. In the end, the movie was a resounding disappointment. The user rating on IMDb is 6.4, and on RottenTomatoes the critics gave it a 40%, with fans awarding it a 71%.
Here at RunPee I gave Justice League a C+ in my review, and I feel I was being kind (Jill’s review is even more kind — but not by much — with a B-).
Ever since Justice League’s disappointing release, fans have been clamoring for Snyder to finish the movie his way. I guess it can’t be worse, but no matter how Snyder edits it, he’s still stuck with one of the worst superhero villains of all time.
Both Gal Gadot and Ben Affleck supported Snyder to release his cut of the movie on Twitter.

What people are saying
about the RunPee app.Must have app if you love the movies
If you’re like me and enjoy a 92oz soda as part of the movie experience, you’ll be thankful for this app telling you the best times to go for a quick break. Whether that’s to refill your soda or recycle it.
Possibly an even better feature is the info on if the movie has after credits scenes. There’s nothing worse than sitting there reading about who the key grip was, then finding out that’s all you did. I blame Marvel for the stupid trend.
Seriously, I see a dozen movies a month and use this app every single time. Worth every Penny of the infinity coin thing I bought.
Developers note: the RunPee app is now, and always will be, 100% free. Donations are optional.
