New Movies This Week
The Color Purple starring: Fantasia Barrino, Taraji P. Henson, Danielle Brooks runtime: 2 hours 20 minutes genres: Drama | Musical rating: Violence | Language | Sexual Content | Mature Thematic Content directed by: Blitz Bazawule Peetimes: I was able to see a screener for the movie so that we could have Peetimes on opening day—Christmas.
I only do Peetimes a few times a year so Dan and Dana are going to also see this movie and update my work here when they can.
Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom starring: Jason Momoa, Ben Affleck, Patrick Wilson runtime: 2 hours 3 minutes genres: Action | Adventure | Fantasy | DC rating: Some Language | Sci-Fi Violence directed by: James Wan Peetimes: The first Peetime isn't bad, but I think the 2nd Peetime is the best.
The third Peetime isn't very long, but it's the best I could find before the climax begins.
Ferrari starring: Adam Driver, Shailene Woodley, Giuseppe Festinese runtime: 2 hours 10 minutes genres: Biography | Drama | History | Sport rating: Sexual Content | Language | Graphic Images | Some Violent Content directed by: Michael Mann Peetimes: I have three Peetimes plus an Alert Peetime near the end.
I think the first and third Peetimes are the best. The middle one isn't bad, but there is more emotion than the others.
I personally can't stress enough to look away during the Alert Peetime. It is only 55 seconds long. No one needs to see this stuff on Christmas Day.
The Boys in the Boat starring: Joel Edgerton, Callum Turner, Peter Guinness runtime: 2 hours 4 minutes genres: Biography | Drama | History | Sport rating: Language and Smoking directed by: George Clooney Peetimes: I have three good Peetimes. I think the first is the best, but both of the others are pretty good as well.
The Iron Claw starring: Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, Harris Dickinson runtime: 2 hours 10 minutes genres: Biography | Drama | History | Sport rating: Some Sexuality | Language | Drug Use | Suicide directed by: Sean Durkin Peetimes: There are 2 Peetimes to choose from, I highly recommend the 2nd Peetime.

Movie Review - The Iron Claw A story of brothers who dominated the world of wrestling. No, not Vic Faulkner and Bert Royal but some American chaps…the Von Erich family. There were five of them! Grade: A+
