Redesign of the Movie Info Screen in the RunPeeNX app

Vera redesigned the User eXperience on the Movie Info Screen. We’d love to hear your feedback. What do you think works? What needs improvement?

One thing to notice, Vera put the “View Peetimes” button in a tray at the bottom that doesn’t move. this means it’s always an easy reach for your thumb if you’re holding and navigating with one hand. I thought that was a nice touch.

Don’t miss your favorite movie moments because you have to pee or need a snack. Use the RunPee app (Androidor iPhone) when you go to the movies. We have Peetimes for all wide release films every week, including Wicked, Gladiator II, Red One, The Wild Robot and coming soon  Moana 2, The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim, Kraven the Hunter, Mufasa: The Lion King and many others. We have literally thousands of Peetimes—from classic movies through today’s blockbusters. You can also keep up with movie news and reviews on our blog, or by following us on Twitter @RunPee. 1. Great idea about the one handed user experience.

It all looks pretty snazzy! It’s a huge difference. Very clean. Now I understand when people said the design wasn’t very good. I always figured they were complaining because it was dark (which it has to be to use in the theaters) or had too many features to navigate on each page.

When do you think the new version will go live?

  2. Certainly smooth and intuitive. TBH, while I use the app before and after the film, typically, I set it and put it in my pocket for the duration (having figured out which break is my likely). So my use case may be different than you’re working toward.

  3. I think RunPee:NX will be live sometime in late September.

  4. Thanks for your feedback. It’s really amazing to me how many different ways people can use the app. While the most common is to use the Timer, some people just look at the Peetimes, pick out one of the “cues” to remember and go by that alone. We try our best to make the app work smoothly for everyone, regardless of their preferences.

We always love getting feedback. Comment on the blog or email [email protected] anytime you have something to share.
