Vengeance pleasantly surprised me. I am not going to say too much about it. In case I accidentally get into any spoilers. A New Yorker, writer, and aspiring podcaster, Ben (B.J. Novak), attempts to help solve the murder of a girl he hooked up with. Traveling to her funeral in Texas to investigate the circumstances of her death and discover what happened to her. While getting to know more of who she was, about her family/friends, and even opening his eyes about himself along the way. We as the viewer might also notice something about ourselves. Yes it gets you thinking a little, it is not a super deep dive, but thought-provoking. I enjoyed the journey it took me on. The right amount of comedy, mystery, and drama. Would definitely recommend checking it out.
