Movie Review – The Mule
โ
Clint, how do you do it? Year after year, for how many years now? 50? 60? Do you ever get tired? Is it ever hard to drag yourself out of bed and face the cameras? I ask these questions because after seeing The Mule, I have to accept the fact that you are not just human, but superhuman. To not only produce, but to direct this magnificent piece of work, no mortal man could do that at the age of 88. For that reason alone you should be rewarded with a Best Actor nod from the awards community.
The movie was a very good flick. It was even paced, well written, and of course well directed. We got to know Earl fairly well, but not any of the other characters…but you know, we really didn’t need to. This was all about Earl.

We did get a heavy dose of ‘family commitment’, but that’s what gave the movie its backbone. Watching Earl as he drove around the country wasn’t going to make for a good story. By putting Earl’s occupation aside and looking at the man, not the mule — that’s what made the movie.
So get some rest Clint; I think it’s going to be a busy awards season for you.
Grade: A
About The Peetimes: I have designated the 2nd Peetime as the preferred break because of the length of said break: you may take 4 and a half minutes to get back to your seat.
There are no extra scenes during, or after, the end credits of The Mule. (What we mean by Anything Extra.)

Movie Watching Must Have!!
I go feral for this app. I love it so much and I wish everyone knew about it and used it. It is incredibly useful and I would be devastated if this app ever disappeared. Things I love: 1) the pee times! Itโs so handy to know the best time to go and then read the synopsis of whatโs happening while Iโm gone. I never have to worry about missing the good bits! 2) knowing if there is a post-credits scene or not. This might be my fav feature because I would have missed out on some pretty critical scenes if it werenโt for RunPee. 3) the movie review and viewer rankings. This info has made me watch some movies that I normally wouldnโt and itโs nice seeing things outside of my usual scope. 4) that itโs a small family run business. I love shopping small and it really does feel like Iโm part of the RunPee family! If you reach out to them, Dan will personally respond to you and he is so warm and helpful. GET THIS APP AND THEN SUBSCRIBE! It is absolutely worth it and youโll be using it again and again!

Clint Eastwood is amazingly talented; no one would argue that. But he does a lot of depressing dramas. Can you think of anything comedic or sweet natured he’s done?

A couple of movies come to mind: Any Which Way But Loose and the sequel, Any Which Way You Can, are pretty funny C.E. movies and Bridges of Madison County is charming. Also, Space Cowboys, is good, plus, it has a dynamite cast.
Thanks for the comment and I hope I’ve given you some good options.
